What kind of character makes stuff of this sort?

About me!

Hello! This is one of the only times I'll be speaking in this whole website, so I better make it count, I guess. Unlike Reliul, Veronica, and all the others, I'm a real person. Well, the others might be real in some other reality, who knows, but as far as I'm aware, they're just phantoms roaming around in my head.

Before I go further, I do want to do some shameful advertising. If you wish to support me, I have a Ko-Fi page (Link). It's a big pile of nothing right now, but I'm planning on putting exclusive stories too short to merit full publications, notes, and author's commentary on my stories there, if any of those interest you. Also, I am taking commissions! In the interest of not clogging this page with all the info about that, I've made another page just for commissions.

Anyways, I call myself Uluscri, and not Veronica Bynes, because many of my pieces have multiple layers of authors. In most of my stories, it's just Reliul relaying whatever it witnessed to Veronica, who does the typing part and slaps her name on the books for marketing purposes (Veronica Bynes reads much better than Reliul, unfortunately). Some stories will be written from someone from that universe, in which case it was a book that Reliul read and relayed to Veronica to type. But I am the one ultimately thinking up these stories and writing them down, so I needed a different name than what is on my books.

But where does "Uluscri" come from? It's a bastardization of a name from one of my conlangs. The original is Ul-Uskri (where the "u"s are pronounced like "oo", the "i" like "ee", and the "r" is tapped), but I wanted something that was more natural to say in English, so I crunched the name down, respelled it a tad, and made it sound like you would read it naturally in English. As for the meaning of the word, Ul means Being, and Uskri means creator, so in essence, I am calling myself the Creator Being for my universes.

But who am I, other than the writing part? I hesitate to release my real name to the winds, but I have many other names floating around the internet. Of course, you can find my stories and worlds under the name Reliul, if it's directly on the internet, or Veronica Bynes, if I'm publishing. I have a couple YouTube channels, one for me as the author (also called Uluscri), and the other specifically for sharing writing (called Reliul). I've also been known to go by Jourtney or Jourtneylmao, if you happen to find that YouTube channel or see me somewhere in the gaming world.

That's enough names, who am I? As I type this, I have recently graduated college, so that's exciting. Assuming that goes through, I'm about to have a lot more time for this whole writing thing. I now have much more time for this whole writing endeavor (I've been able to write almost 40% of the second draft of my current novel in about two months). Oh, and my degrees are in Math and Physics. You don't have to tell me they're not related to writing at all, I know. It's a long story.

Otherwise, I love hiking, skateboarding, biking, walking, reading, and other gerunds! I don't know what to put in a place like this, how much is too much info? I'm big into photography (all the pictures you see on this website are my own). Major inspirations are Tad Williams, Hayao Miyazaki, Pendleton Ward, PilotRedSun/Sky, George R. R. Martin, Brandon Sanderson, Tolkien, and back in the day Rick Riordan and Christopher Paolini (I've been writing since I was in elementary school, haha). I guess that's relevant to my writing website.

That's it. I wrote more than I expected I would for this page, so I hope you had fun reading it all. For now, fare thee well.
